This company was originally started as table recover service. This company also delivered and installed new tables. They charged twelve dollars for installing and delivering a new table. This company later came up with an idea for a great opportunity. The company that they originally delivered the tables for offered to them the business for one thousand American dollars. In 1973 they took over the manufacturing company. The company was at first making about thirty-five tables per year however this soon doubled to seventy tables per year. Within two years of the company trading they were manufacturing over three hundred tables per year. Nowadays the Olhausen Company is producing about thirty thousand tables every year. This company is still a family run business and is still operated by the boys that started it off. The tables that are produced by this company are well known for being one of the best.
