In 1973 they took over the manufacturing company. The company was at first making about thirty-five tables per year however this soon doubled to seventy tables per year. Within two years of the company trading they were manufacturing over three hundred tables per year. Nowadays the Olhausen Company is producing about thirty thousand tables every year. This company is still a family run business and is still operated by the boys that started it off. The tables that are produced by this company are well known for being one of the best.

There is a range of different billiard tables that are produced by the Olhausen Company and these are classed as the select series, signature series, Portland series, Americana series and also the modern series.
